The Stripe Hog SH8000 from Hog Technologies is a water blasting system designed for large-scale jobs including marking removal, road retexturing, surface cleaning, spill clean-up, marking rejuvenation and more.
The Stripe HOG SH8000 uses a 40,000psi (2,750 bar) ultra-high-pressure pump to deliver water at a rate of 12 gallons per minute (45l per minute) through the needle-sharp water jetting nozzles. With a flow rate this high, the SH8000 is a high-production water blasting system that can road markings at a rate of 6,500 linear feet (1,981 linear metres) per hour on either asphalt or concrete runway surfaces.
The SH8000 can utilise multiple blasting head sizes from 6in all the way up to 22in. With its powerful five-axis arm, the Stripe Hog SH8000 can support up to two 22in heads for a total blasting width of 44in with no overlap. The SH8000 can also utilise the HOG Tusk attachment that combines 1in PCD grinding teeth with 40,000psi water jet nozzles, allowing for marking removal at twice the speed while only using half of the water.
Using a 44in-wide blasting path, roadway marking removal can be performed at a rapid and efficient rate, saving you both time and money. In addition, roadway, parking lots and other areas need to occasionally be retextured due to the effects that constantly changing hot and cold climates can have on the surface.
All of the Stripe Hog models feature simultaneous vacuum recovery of dirt and debris as blasting is happening. The Stripe Hog SH8000 can also utilise a scissor lift debris tank which can raise 12ft into the air, allowing you to easily and safely dump debris at a 45° angle. The Stripe Hog can also utilise bladder bags to increase the amount of waste material that can be stored before dumping.
All of this is performed using clean, potable water with no harsh chemicals added. Unlike past methods of sandblasting, scorching or using chemicals for removal, water blasting is clean, safe and environmentally friendly. The needle-sharp water jets can do more than what other methods can’t such as getting down into the micro and macro-texture of the surface to remove markings and other built-up sediments all while doing the least amount of damage to the surface.
All of our vehicles come with a training programme called Hog Tech University. Hog Technologies is the only manufacturer of equipment that requires a license to operate. This is because Hog Technologies believes that a well-trained operator will have a much higher success rate with a job than someone who is untrained or unqualified to run or operate the equipment. The leading cause of damaged surfaces is the results of untrained people operating the vehicle.
The goal at Hog Technologies is to maximise productivity, minimise costs and optimise results. In order to achieve this, all of our Stripe Hog operators need to be properly trained on how to run the equipment. Hog Tech University does this through initial and constant training, by requiring operators to take refresher courses to renew their licenses and by offering incentives for doing a job well done.
Hog Technologies remains committed to being your total pavement solution.
