Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed construction work on internal roads in 16 residential areas.

The AED835m ($227.3m) roads construction work forms a part of a AED1bn ($272.2m) five-year plan launched for constructing internal roads across the city.

Works also included the lighting of all internal roads, full rainwater and sewage networks, protection of the existing utility lines and conduits for future utility lines, RTA stated.
