TagMaster, the leading producer of advanced long-range and high-performance identification systems based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems for Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) solutions announce the launch of this embedded access control software. This web based easy-to-use, reader integrated application handles vehicle access control for up to 10,000 identities.
A growing demand in the market for full function access control solutions in smaller vehicle access installations that have a limited number of entrance/exit lanes has been identified. This software application has been designed to run on the reader platform in a network connected installation using TCP/IP.
Ethernet is used more and more in access control installations making a very efficient solution possible benefitting from the future proof TagMaster Gen4 reader systems platform. Management is web based and easy to use with an intuitively designed web browser window. All that is needed is to connect a PC to the network and the user database and event log can be accessed and the access control configured.
The TagMaster premium partner to the North America market has designed this new reader embedded application using the TagMaster software development kit (SDK). The ACTS management software is designed for the control of up to two entrance / exit lanes and support functionality such as Anti-passback, ground loops and keypad. A real-time event log viewer is available and up to 5,000 events per day can be stored for up to four years in the system.
Scheduling for the access to facilities can be set on a per individual basis in a convenient way using a customised web interface. It is possible to set multiple schedules including holiday and weekend schedules. Reports include standard personnel can easily be generated with information about ID-tag used, events and real-time facility use reporting along with customisable individual personnel, ID-tag and date reporting.
“The introduction of this new application has been a great success and meets a well defined demand in the market,” says Ali Khaksar CEO of Tagmaster North America.
