Stockholm, Sweden, July 6th – TagMaster, developer of advanced RFID systems for wireless communication has recently introduced the new LR-3 reader and ParkTag at the Parken 2005 trade show in Wiesbaden, Germany.
The LR-3 is the first in a new generation of TagMaster long-range readers which incorporate the very latest RFID technology. The new LR-3 is a 2.45GHz RFID reader suitable for applications requiring read ranges up to 3 metres. The reader has a new compact and modern design, several communication alternatives and is easily integrated using the most commonly used interfaces. In situations where the reader is connected directly to a data network, the LR-3 can be ordered with an integrated Ethernet interface. With features such as user-programmability, 100 user-selectable channels, licence-free installation as well as a movement detection function for both people and vehicles, the LR-3 has a strong competitive advantage.
S1259 ParkTag is an identification tag optimized for parking applications. The ParkTag provides the driver with hands-free convenience in vehicle access applications. By removing the ID-tag from its WinFix holder in the vehicle during parking hours, the risk of vehicle theft can be reduced. The ParkTag has a predictable lifetime of 3 years, which enables enhanced control of ID-tags in operation.
"With its new modern design, the LR-3 is a welcome addition to our range of RFID readers. The LR-3 and ParkTag form part of TagMaster’s long term strategy to expand our product range and increase our business opportunities." says Magnus Rehn, President of TagMaster AB.
