smartmicro’s Russian partner Sorb Group recently took part in a driverless vehicle testing on a highway close to the Black Sea.
During the presentation of the first stage of the project they presented the high-precision positioning system for driverless and connected vehicles as well as the incident detection system with smartmicro 3D/HD technology.
The high-precision positioning system promptly transmits information about the position of a vehicle within the 450m field of view from the infrastructure directly to driverless or connected vehicles. The incident detection system transmits the information about the traffic situation on up to six lanes.
The project was completed successfully.
