Traffic safety industry veteran Bob Felt has joined TraffiCalm Systems as the
northeast regional sales manager on October 7 2019.
Felt has over 25 years of experience in state government, including 12 years at the Michigan Department of Transportation. He was most recently at the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) for six years. He is a certified ATSSA Master
Instructor for various safety courses.
Felt has extensive contacts in the traffic safety industry and co-developed the New England, New York / New Jersey, Gulf Coast, Oklahoma and Utah chapters of ATSSA. He also served as national staff liaison for numerous other chapters across the country.
Bob Felt has served on numerous national committees and subcommittees for the ATSSA, the American Association of State Highway Officials (AASHTO), the National Committee on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (NCUTCD) and the Transportation Research Board (TRB).
He also helped expand ATSSA’s DOT participation network regionally and nationally by creating beneficial partnerships to further advance roadway safety. Felt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University.
