Transoft Solutions, developers of productivity enhancing software for the transportation engineering community has just released AutoTURN for BricsCAD and ZWCAD to bolster its software suite to European and Latin American markets. AutoTURN now supports 5 different platforms: Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Bentley Microstation, BricsCAD, and ZWCAD.
As a leader in the CAD software market, Transoft responded to requests from BricsCAD users in Europe and spent considerable development hours bringing the innovative features and functionality of AutoTURN to these important platforms. By adding BricsCAD to their supported platforms, it means companies of all sizes have cost-effective alternatives to more expensive CAD software programs on the market. With this release, BricsCAD and ZWCAD users are getting access to a very robust set of vehicle swept path design tools.
"We had considered developing on BricsCAD in the past but we were focused on AutoTURN," said Alexander Brozek, general manager of Transoft’s Rotterdam office. "In the meantime, BricsCAD has worked on its API, making it easier and for developers like Transoft Solutions to develop compatible applications. BricsCAD has a large user community we are happy to be joining."
"We didn’t hold back on any of the features in this release," said Carlo Pechuanco, development services manager at Transoft Solutions Inc. "All of the capabilities of AutoTURN are included so all of the benefits of AutoTURN are now available to BricsCAD and ZWCAD users."
