On the 30th anniversary of the company, founded in 1984, VITRONIC looks back on a very successful 2014. In addition to the strong growth of the parent company, international subsidiaries also recorded large orders and an increase in sales.
Since its establishment in 1984, today VITRONIC is represented on four continents, with more than 700 employees, including more than 200 en-gineers. VITRONIC products are currently used in over 40 countries. The high competitiveness of its innovative products is reflected in sales and orders.
"Consolidated sales and overall performance, combined total-ling 120 million euros, as well as incoming orders totalling 130 million euros have exceeded our expectations," says general manager and sole shareholder Dr. Norbert Stein.
Particularly encouraging is the development of the business of the VI-TRONIC Group companies in the Middle East (traffic technology) and in the US (logistics), as well as of the parent company. Over 60% of the orders are now being generated by the Group companies. 2015 should also see a successful continuation of growth: New orders have already exceeded the plan in the first quarter.
As a family business, with the second generation engaged in the man-agement, VITRONIC is committed to manufacturing in Wiesbaden, Germany. The company’s founder Dr. Norbert Stein adds: "Here at the headquarters of VITRONIC, products are not just developed, but all products are manufactured in our two factories. Therefore, our products carry the "Made in Germany" seal of quality."
