VITRONIC receives substantial order for the delivery of monitoring systems within intersections, as well as software solutions for efficient case processing.
VITRONIC is pleased to announce it has received a substantial order from the MENA region, for the installation of POLISCAN REDLIGHT-system in addition to software solutions for the analysis of case-data.
With regards to road safety, the MENA-region has made considerable progress and VITRONIC will soon make a vital contribution to this development. 750 new systems will be installed to the existing network of traffic control solutions, to monitor safety within road junctions.
With its laser-based technology, the POLISCAN RED-LIGHT systems offer an efficient method to simultaneously monitor infringements such as jumping red lights and speeding. Extensive and high-maintenance sensor installations within road surfaces are no longer needed. In addition to detecting simple stop line infringements, the system also registers turning infringements in the so-called ‘Yellow Box’ danger zones. The POLISCAN RED-LIGHT solution meets the requirements of the local traffic and street conditions as well as the legal demands of the respective country. As a result, the system is able to detect a number of different driving scenarios while simultaneously compiling video evidence. Presently, the POLISCAN RED-LIGHT system is used both in inner-city and rural areas.
In addition to traffic monitoring systems, VITRONIC delivers software solutions for both the transfer and analysis of case data. With POLISCAN CONNECT and POLISCAN OFFICE PRO, VITRONIC offers two complementary software suites with automatization functions aimed at creating a processing chain of cases which is more efficient.
In comparison to Europe, the MENA-region registers both a higher caseload and processed case data centrally. The software used, POLISCAN OFFICE PRO, makes it possible to process the cases of several thousands of checkpoints, while simultaneously minimising human resources. Up to 2,000 processed cases are possible, per evaluator per day. Within the MENA region, the number of cases handled by the software can reach 250,000 a day!
Preceding the case analysis, the automatic transfer of case data to the respective centre takes place. These automatic data transmissions are accomplished using POLISCAN CONNECT. The software allows encrypted data import, enables online monitoring of the POLISCAN systems and gives straight-forward remote access to all connected systems.
The decisive factor for the commissioning of VITRONIC within the MENA-region lies in the performance and reliability of the POLISCAN systems. Worldwide, this trusted technology provides higher standards for road safety. Particularly for the MENA-region, VITRONIC has attained the order to provide customized solutions and service offerings for the customers, in addition to gaining more experience and presence in this unique area.
