A new portion of PREMARK® speed limit signs has successfully been applied at Russia’s largest airport, Sheremetyevo. Here, it helps heighten safety by warning drivers to slow down when driving through the entrance of Terminal E and F.
As hosts of the FIFA World Cup 2018, Russia is getting ready to welcome thousands of tourists and football fans. Many of them will travel through the large Sheremetyevo International Airport (SVO) in Moscow as it is one of the main gateways to Russia.
At Sheremetyevo, they have already had great experience with the durable PREMARK® signs. In the autumn, the same type of speed limit signs was placed outside Terminal D. The performance of PREMARK® products was checked and approved by the strong quality control service of the airport operator, and considering the heavy traffic and cold Russian winter, the results have been highly successful. With that in mind, we expect that more signs will soon appear at other airport premises and terminals.
