Use PREMARK® 3D-X from Geveko. Geveko is now launching a new road marking concept, where PREMARK® preformed thermoplastic is combined with sinus shaped grooves making the road marking visible in one direction only.
PREMARK® 3D-X is a raised marking with 3D feature and hence higher visibility. The optional multi coloured horizontal sign has same recognition as a vertical sign. Also, the sinus shaped grooves in the wheel track increase the awareness of the driver due to the rumble effect and vibration in the car, without disturbing the surroundings. PREMARK® 3D-X is a durable and snow plough resistant solution. PREMARK® 3D-X can be used for increasing safety, for example in dangerous T-intersections without sufficient traffic lights and markings for road safety, or on highway ramps for preventing and fighting ghost drivers. But it could also be used for helping protect the vulnerable road users at pedestrian crossings or bicycle crossings.
The PREMARK® 3D-X concept has a patent pending.
