Markings in general and road markings in particular, are indispensible guiding elements in road traffic. For traffic routes, parking sites, parking garages, racetracks, test facilities or airports, markings affect the behaviour of motorists and cyclists and provide more safety for the running and stationary traffic because of their guiding function.
As road markings are often exposed to extreme conditions it is important that they are durable. Other important aspects are that they are visibile during the day as well as at night and the grip. There are various marking materials on the market which comply with all the given requirements. The retro reflective marking tapes comply with highest requirements of night-time visibility acc. to DIN/EN 1436. These durable marking tapes are available in yellow and white. The tapes can easily be implemented at temperatures from five degrees upwards and are instantly trafficable.
