International Road Dynamics (IRD) will be exhibiting at the ITS America 22nd Annual Meeting and Exposition from 21-23 May 2012 at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Centre in National Harbour, Maryland, US.
More than 2,000 of the nation’s transportation and technology leaders will gather at the three day event entitled, "Smart Transportation: A Future We Can Afford." It will focus on affordable strategies to create smart cities and communities that are safer, cleaner, more affordable and less congested.
As cities and states are being asked to do more with less, transportation leaders are turning to innovative technology solutions to optimise taxpayer dollars while lowering driving costs, reducing traffic congestion, and improving the environment as well as road and vehicle safety.
IRD will be represented by Randy Hanson, vice president and COO, Norm Lindgren, ITS Solutions Group US strategist, and Spencer Joyce, product engineer.
IRD will present integrated solutions that make commercial vehicle enforcement more economical and effective, systems for vehicle data collection, and solutions for toll operations. IRD will be demonstrating how the intelligent sensor interface and network controller (iSINC) and web-based software and machine vision technologies can be used for cost-effective weight enforcement, security, and credentialing programs.
