Redflex will again be exhibiting at Gulf Traffic in Dubai and will be showing several of its advanced traffic technologies. These include systems for mobile and fixed speed enforcement, automatic number plate recognition, mobile speed enforcement and the protection of schoolchildren when entering or exiting a school bus.
REDFLEXanpr is a fully automated, scalable, high-definition number plate recognition system for high-speed capture of most international number plates and is easily configured to recognise new plates. The system can be pole, tripod, gantry or bollard-mounted for a wide range of applications, including car park monitoring, restricted lane monitoring, tolling, travel time monitoring and surveillance.
One of the first systems to utilise superior dual-radar technology, REDFLEXspeed-radar provides detection accuracy across up to six lanes of approaching or receding traffic with no limitations on site selection. The two radars operate independently to verify each speed measurement and provide real-time secondary speed corroboration. The system uses a high-resolution colour or monochrome 11MP camera, with visible or infrared illumination, to accurately photograph speed violations, providing lane identification, vehicle position and positive vehicle classification in all weather conditions.
Designed for vehicle or tripod-mounting, REDFLEXradarcam utilises the same dual radar technology to deliver mobile speed enforcement with the highest detection rates with industry leading measurement accuracy, across up to six lanes of approaching or receding traffic and with no limitations on site selection.
REDFLEXstudent guardian uses discrete video cameras to capture footage and still images of vehicles that illegally pass stationary school buses while the bus stop arm and lights are displayed. The fully automated, ready-to-use system can be installed on any school bus and requires no driver intervention.
Redflex photo enforcement systems are enhanced by a range of enforcement and infringement management software. REDFLEXiips, the company’s flexible, scalable and integrated image and incident processing back office system will also be demonstrated at Gulf Traffic.
