Wind turbine blades are manufactered whole in order to retain maximum strength. This can be a problem, because some are up to 54 metres long, and are not particularly easy to transport from the manufacturer to the turbine location. The best locations for turbines are high up, at the top of hills. But to get there, a vehicle has to travel up winding roads and round hairpin bends. That's why it is very important to analyse the road before you start, and make sure you know that you can reach the end.
