Global automotive company Daimler has partnered with Bosch to advance development of a fully automated and driverless driving system.

The two companies   agreed to develop software and algorithms for an autonomous driving system, which would enable fully automated (SAE Level 4) and driverless (SAE Level 5) driving to the urban roads by the start of the next decade.

As part of the new project, both companies will be sharing their expertise to build the new autonomous driving system.

The companies will be developing the new system with an objective to reduce traffic congestion on the urban roads and improve the safety of the motorists, in addition to providing an important building block for the way traffic will work in the future.

"It is expected that the introduction of the new technology will enable people to make better use of the available time and also pave the way for new mobility options."

It is expected that the introduction of the new technology will enable people to make better use of the available time and also pave the way for new mobility options.

The companies also predict that the new technology would also give a boost to the car sharing concept.

The primary objective of the project is to deliver a production-ready driving system that will allow cars to drive fully autonomously in the city.

The new technology will be designed and developed in a manner that the vehicle will autonomously make it to the user when they order an automated shared car via their smartphone device.
