When the Radar detects a vehicle travelling above a predetermined threshold, the ANPR system identifies the Vehicle Registration Mark (VRM) and stores it away.
Where fitted, the VRM is then transmitted via radio modem to the sign which displays the VRM along with a Speed Roundel and SLOW DOWN legend.
Simultaneously, a data packet is sent via GPRS modem to our secure off-site server where it is displayed on your own webpage, accessed with a secure login.
The system requires a 3G signal to send the data out reliably to the server.
The Data packet contains a picture of the VRM, a colour overview picture, time and date, conformation of VRM, and confidence of accuracy.
