The US state of Iowa is set to receive a $95m package for transportation projects across the state, under the Culver/Judge I-JOBS programme.

Cities and counties in Iowa will share the additional $45m for local road projects, while $50m will be utilised for the improvement of state bridges in 29 counties.

The I-JOBS is a $830m programme to strengthen the state economy and improve roads, bridges, renewable energy, water distribution and improve flood preparation.
